Trouble for Mariah and Nick? Plus, Mystical plans his comeback -
Rapper Michael Lawrence Tyler AKA Mystikal has finished his six year prison sentence and now plans a comeback. Mystikal was imprisoned for sexually assaulting his 46-year-old hairstylist. Mystikal was formerly part of Master P’s No Limit label and is best known for his single Shake It Fast. I used to love me some Mystikal with that rough voice, let’s hope he can get back in the game.
Rumor has it that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey’s marriage is on the rocks. Mariah was on stage drunk at the People’s Choice Awards. People are speculating on what’s causing her to act so strangely. A rocky marriage will do that to you – have you acting all kinds of crazy. Time will tell what the truth of the matter is.
Speaking of Mariah, she behaved at The Golden Globes that aired on January 17th. She said she only had two sips of champagne. She said this so she could mention that she’s launching her own brand of champagne called Angel. Who better to put out a drink than someone who loves to get her sip on?
Rush Limbaugh said that Americans should not give Haiti any money because that is just trying to help a Black president out in getting credibility with his Black constituents here in this country. Limbaugh also said Americans already contribute to Haiti and it’s called income tax. He’s been called on the carpet many times about these statements but continues to stand by them. He said that the president sees everything as a political opportunity. Wonder if he said that about George W. Bush and 9-11 (probably not)!
Continuing with the hate storm, Pat Robertson said that the earthquake in Haiti is the result of a pact that the Haitians made to the devil when they were under the heels of the French and Napoleon the 3rd. He said that they have been cursed by on thing after another ever since. I thought ministers were supposed to preach on love and forgiveness. This man needs some Zoloft, Paxil, or somebody’s happy pills because he is delusional.
Tiger Woods is ready to return to golf. He has been treated for sex addiction at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Mississippi. He plans to return to the PGA Tour this spring. The Masters are in April – will he be ready?
Mo’ Nique won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Precious. She won the first Golden Globe award of the night. The movie is based on the 1996 novel Push by Sapphire.
You know, our girl Mo’ Nique might have won the award for best supporting actress but she didn’t win for best legs. The fashion police are rippin’ her a new one over photos showing her hairy legs. I’m sure she was showing off her shoes but those hairs stole the show. Being a chocolate skinned woman, I understand that we can get away with not shaving sometimes due to our skin tone but on the red carpet????? No ma’am. Somebody could have run to CVS to get her some Nair or something!
The A&E cable channel is offering the Jackson brothers a chance for a season two of their show. They have been slow to respond to the network. Everyone is waiting to see what will happen next.
Kid Rock celebrated his 39th birthday on January 17th at Vegas hot spot Lavo nightclub inside The Palazzo. Instead of dressing up, he showed up in jeans, a white tee, a cigar in one hand and bottle of Jim Beam bourbon in the other. You can take the man out the hood but . . .
