IBE Donates to Haiti Relief
INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Black Expo, Inc. (IBE) is pledging its support to Wyclef Jean’s Ye’le Haiti Earthquake Fund to support the humanitarian efforts on the island. Ye’le charity founder Wyclef Jean, a musician, rapper, record producer, and philanthropist is a native of Haiti.
Tanya Bell, IBE president and CEO, said, “We are strongly touched by the devastation that the earthquake has caused our Haitian family. The IBE family extends its prayers, thoughts and condolences.”
IBE will donate $10,000 to the Ye’le Haiti Earthquake fund and are encouraging others to do the same. IBE is encouraging all of its volunteers, members, partners and supporters who would like to contribute to the Ye’le Haiti charity relief efforts to text “YELE” to 501501 to donate $5, which will automatically be charged to your cell phone bill.
